こんにちは！日本（にほん）が大（だい）すきなあなたに、奈良（なら）のしかをしょうかいします。しかは、アニメのキャラみたいにかわいくて、日本（にほん）のれきしとも ふかい かんけいがあります。 🟢 Hello! If you love Japan, let me introduce you to the deer of Nara. They are as cute as anime characters and have a deep connection to Japanese history.

1. 奈良公園（ならこうえん）にいるしか

奈良公園（ならこうえん）は、京都（きょうと）のちかくにある きれいな公園（こうえん）です。そこには、**1200頭（とう）**ぐらいの野生（やせい）のしかがいます。しかは、自由（じゆう）に公園（こうえん）を歩（ある）いています。 🟢 Nara Park is a beautiful park near Kyoto. Around 1,200 wild deer live there. They walk freely around the park.

なぜ、しかがいるの？

1300年前、神（かみ）さまが白（しろ）いしかにのって奈良（なら）に来（き）たという伝説（でんせつ）があります。だから、しかは「神（かみ）の使（つか）い」として、大切（たいせつ）にされています。📚しかは、1300年前（ねんまえ）の和歌（わか）にも書（か）かれています。日本（にほん）のれきしの一部（いちぶ）です！ 🟢 There is a legend from 1,300 years ago that a god came to Nara riding a white deer. Because of this, the deer are treated as sacred messengers of the gods.📚 The deer even appear in ancient Japanese poetry from that time. They are part of Japanese history!

2. しかの一日（いちにち）

奈良（なら）のしかは、野生動物（やせいどうぶつ）です。朝（あさ）、ねぐらからでて、しばふやドングリをたべます。夕方（ゆうがた）にはまたねぐらに帰（かえ）って、休（やす）みます。まるでRPGのモブキャラみたいに、マイペースでかわいいです 😊 🟢 Nara deer are wild animals. In the morning, they leave their sleeping spots and eat grass and acorns. In the evening, they return and rest.　They’re kind of like NPCs in an RPG—relaxed and cute! 😊

3. しかせんべい🍘とは？

しかは「しかせんべい」が大（だい）すきです！しかせんべいは、小麦粉（こむぎこ）と米（こめ）ぬかでできています。人間（にんげん）は食（た）べられませんが、しかにはとても安全（あんぜん）です。 • 値段（ねだん）：10枚で200円くらい • 歴史（れきし）：江戸時代（えどじだい）からあります • お金(かね）の一部（いちぶ）は、しかのために使われます 🟢 Deer love “shika senbei” (deer crackers)! They’re made of wheat flour and rice bran. People can’t eat them, but they are very safe for the deer. • Price: About 200 yen for 10 crackers • History: They've been around since the Edo period • Part of the money goes to deer protection

🦌 しかはせんべいがほしいとき、「おじぎ」をすることもあります！とってもかわいいですよ！でも、しかの「おじぎ」は、せんべいをくださいというアピールです。ときどき、こうげきのサインのときもあります。だから、「おじぎ」を見たら、すぐに しかせんべいを あげましょう。 🟢 Sometimes, deer bow when they want a cracker. It’s super cute! But their bow can also mean, “Give me one now!” and sometimes it’s a sign they might get aggressive. So, if a deer bows, give it a cracker right away!

4. しかの角（つの）きりイベント🪓

秋（あき）になると、オスのしかはとても強(つよ）くなります。けんかをしたり、人（ひと）をついたりすることもあります。だから、しかの角（つの）をきるイベントがあります。これは「角きり（つのきり）」といいます。1672年からつづく**とても古（ふる）い行事（ぎょうじ）**です。📅今（いま）も、毎年（まいとし）10月（がつ）に「角（つの）きり」を見（み）ることができますよ！ 🟢 In autumn, male deer become stronger and more aggressive. They might fight or attack people. So there is an event where their antlers are cut. It’s called “Tsunokiri” (antler cutting). This traditional event started in 1672 and still happens every October!

5. かんこうきゃくと しかのもんだい😢

最近（さいきん）、観光客（かんこうきゃく）がふえて、しかと人(ひと）とのトラブルもふえています。 • しかが人をかんだり、たたいたりする • せんべいじゃない食べものをあげる • 車の事故（じこ）になる • しかをけったり、たたいたりする人も…😢 ⚠️しかにわるいことをすると、**法律（ほうりつ）**で ばつを受けることもあります。🟢 Recently, the number of tourists has increased, and so have problems between people and deer.• Deer bite or hit people• People give them food that’s not safe• There are car accidents involving deer• Some people kick or hit the deer… 😢⚠️ If you harm the deer, you may be punished by law.

6. しかと なかよくするために😊

しかは かわいいですが、やせいどうぶつです。いくつか注意（ちゅうい）が必要です。✅ しかをさわらない（のったり、かかえたりしない） ✅ しかせんべい だけをあげる ✅ メスや こじかに ちかづかない ✅ しかの前（まえ）でゴミをすてない ✅ せんべいをあげるときは、じらさない。すぐにあげる 🟢 Deer are cute, but they are wild animals. Please be careful when interacting with them. ✅ Don’t touch or ride them ✅ Only give them official deer crackers ✅ Don’t get close to mothers or baby deer ✅ Don’t litter in front of the deer ✅ When giving crackers, don’t tease them—give it quickly! とくに秋のオスじかは ちょっとこわいので、あまりちかづかないようにしましょう。🟢 Male deer in autumn can be scary, so it’s better not to get too close.

7. わたしの思い出（おもいで）📖

わたしは 小学生（しょうがくせい）のとき、奈良（なら）に行（い）きました。たくさんのしかが わたしたちにちかづいてきて、おじぎをしながら「せんべいちょうだい！」とやってきました。そのとき、わたしは かわいいしかにせんべいをあげて、とても楽（たの）しかったです。奈良（なら）の寺（てら）もよかったけど、しかとすごした時間（じかん）が一番（いちばん）心（こころ）にのこっています。 🟢 When I was a primary school student, I visited Nara. Many deer came to us, bowing as if to say, “Please give me a cracker!”I gave them crackers, and it was a lot of fun. The temples in Nara were nice too, but the time I spent with the deer is what I remember most.
